Instead, Julie is soon fighting for her life in a nightmare spawned by a chilling deception and jealousy so poisonous that it has become a murderous desire..."

Oh my gosh! This book was amazing! It not like any of the other Nicholas Sparks' books that I have read before. The characters were amazing and it was really well written.
The Guardian is about a 29 year old named Julie and her husband died a few years ago. She didn't know if it was okay to start dating again but she soon found this one guy named Richard Franklin that she started liking. She began dating him but only for a short amount of time.
Her best friend Mike, who she has known for years, really liked Julie and he was getting jelous of all the time she was spending with Mike.
Julie broke up with Richard and she soon started dating Mike. Now I don't really want to give away anything that happened after they started dating because I don't want to spoil the story for you. What I will say though is that it is a real eye opener and it had me turning the pages to figure out what happend next. The last couple of chapters were really sad and some parts scary not knowing what was going to happen to the characters. If you have read the book I think that you understand what I am saying and if you haven't once you read I'm sure you will understand then.
I highly recommend you read this book and it will have you look at some things differently and you will not want to put this book down.
