The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa

The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa
Publisher: Harlequin Teen
Release Date: August 1, 2010
Rating: 5/5
Synopsis:
"Half Summer faery princess, half human. Meghan has never fit in anywhere. Deserted by the Winter prince she thought loved her, she is prisoner to the Winter faery queen. As war looms between Summer and Winter, Meghan knows that the real danger comes from the Iron fey - ironbound faeries that only she and her absent prince have seen. But no one believes her.
Worse. Meghan's own fey powers have been cut off. She's stuck in Faery with only her wits for help. Trusting anyone would be foolish. Trusting a seeming traitor could be deadly. But even as she grows a backbone of iron, Meghan can't help but hear the whispers of longing in her all-to-human heart."

Oh my gosh! This was absolutely amazing! Just as good, if not better than than The Iron King. (it must be a pretty darn good book to better better than The Iron King!)

I loved all the characters, they were amazingly well developed in The Iron Daughter. Meghan had all these problems going on in her life but she somehow managed to fix them all and make them right. I loved the love triangle also that was going on in. One second she wanted Ash then the next she wasn't sure if she wanted Puck or not but in the end she finally chose the one person she wanted...... And no, I am not going to tell you who that was.

There was a lot more action in the second book than the first. From trying to find a way to escape the Winter Court, to Meghan and Puck trying to fight and save Ash from the evil iron bugs that Virus trapped in his body.

Every single page of this book just kept making you want more and more. I love the writing and it was not dull on one single page. If you have a good imagination this is definitely the book for you!

I cannot wait for The Iron Queen, because I just know that it is going to bring this series to a whole new level!
