Nights in Rodanthe I thought was a very good books. I liked how some things happened that you didn't expect and it just kept wanting me to read more.
Adrienne's husband cheated on her and they got a divorce and Paul was to occupied in his job and he never paid any attention to his family, and his wife wanted to get a divorce. Adrienne's friend asks' her to watch over her inn and then Paul walks in. At first she doesn't really know what to do but soon they both start falling for each other. Even though they only knew each other for a very short amount of time it felt like a lifetime to them. Paul decides that he wants to go and reconnect with his son Mark and he has to leave to Ecuador. It is the hardest thing for Paul to leave but knows that he has to and told Adrienne that he will be back in one year. Adrienne and Paul wrote letters to each other all the time but one day his son Mark wrote her a letter and it changed her life forever. Paul couldn't come back and she has to learn how to deal with grief and figure out how she can live her life without him in it any more.
I love to read Nicholas Sparks' books and everytime he does an amazing job. I liked how the characters were well described and I couldn't put this book down.
